Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Neon Drift (“the App”, “the Service”) handles information in connection with your use of the game. Neon Drift is developed and operated by herdoydev (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By downloading, installing, or using Neon Drift, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Neon Drift mobile application. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or advertisements that may be linked to or displayed within the App.

3. Information we collect

None. Neon Drift does not require an account, login, or registration. We do not ask for, collect, or store your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, photos, contacts, or any other personally identifying information.

3.2 Information stored locally on your device

The App stores the following data on your device only, using on-device storage (MMKV). This data never leaves your device through our systems and we cannot access it:

3.3 Information collected by advertising partners

To fund free access to the App, Neon Drift displays advertisements served by Google AdMob (operated by Google LLC). To serve and measure those advertisements, AdMob may collect:

6. Children’s privacy

Neon Drift is intended for users aged 13 and older. The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

7. Your choices and controls

7.1 Opt out of personalized advertising (Android)

  2. Tap GoogleAds
  3. Enable Delete advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalization

After opting out you will still see advertisements, but they will not be tailored to your interests. You can manage Google-wide ad personalization at https://adssettings.google.com.

8. Data deletion requests

How to delete data associated with Neon Drift:

  1. Local device data (coins, lives, high score): uninstall the App, or clear its storage from Android Settings → Apps → Neon Drift → Storage → Clear data.
  2. Advertising identifier data: reset or delete your Android Advertising ID via Settings → Google → Ads.
  3. Questions or requests about residual data: email contact@herdoydev.com with subject line “Data Deletion Request”. We will respond within 30 days and assist you in requesting deletion from Google where applicable.

Because Neon Drift does not maintain user accounts or server-side user data, no server-side deletion is typically needed.

No method of digital transmission or storage is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.

11. International data transfers

Neon Drift is available globally. By using the App you understand that information processed by Google’s advertising infrastructure may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States and other jurisdictions in which Google operates. These countries may have data protection laws different from those of your country. Google maintains safeguards for international transfers as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.

Advertisements displayed in the App may link to third-party websites, apps, or services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before providing any information to them.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or advertising partners. Updates will be posted at the same URL as this policy, with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will also be announced in the Google Play Store listing.

Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
